Ayrad and Lacey..
Thanks you so much for the birthday greetings.. Made my day.. My sons took me out for supper tonight to Applebees.. Had my favourite.. Shrimp... Yes!! and then I got a free Sundae for dessert Yummy!!!They came over for cake and Ice Cream later too..
I even got presents .. Two movie with Leslie Caron.. "Gigi "and "An American in Paris". Some scrapbooking supplies and Sunflower stuff (of course).. Also a Cd.. (Carrie Underwood)..My sister gave me a cute pair of slippers. and my hubby gave me cash towards my trip to Colorado to visit my best friend next week.. Pretty nice birthday aye.. I am so excited about my trip... But not too much time to plan... Hope I can get it together tomorrow..I leave on Tuesday.

Just got back on Dec 1st.. I sure had a whirlwind trip but had fun... The first week was personal time with my friends but the second week was all about cleaning., babysitting ,baking & cooking.. and feeding 29 people for Thanksgiving dinner. My friends have eight grandchildren.. So there were 14 kids and 15 adults there. I even helped make 8 pies!!! I am not the best pie maker either but I think they turned out pretty good.. grin~~~
I did however get up in the mountains to Gold lake Resort Lodge to visit my neice who has been working there.. Soo beautiful and serene.. She lives in Jamestown.. The lodge will be closing soon so My neice is presently looking for another job. She is sad over the closing as she loved it there..
