Thought I would share with you a little poem I recently wrote dedicated to all mothers who have small children...
Lost In The Mall
Silence consumes the small shadow of a child Looking up at the grandeur of a room full of muffled sounds Lights Bright, small hands moist with sweat Eyes welling up with tears Listening for something familiar Fear of the unknown Nothing but Silence in his little world Troubled glances of people passing by Noone acknowledging him who waits in Silence He feels alone in a world he does not Understand Suddenly he hears his name Eyes light up as he runs towards this familiarity A sigh of relief The face of Love radiates Smiles, Hugs, and sobs "Mommys here"

Hi Sun, I found it. Your Poem. I went to the "Welcome to the message board", but couldn't find it, so I Just clicked on your name, and there it was. I clicked on to your poem. That was such a good one. Such Talent. You can do so many things, and are so good at it. I can play a guitar, a little. Sing a little, and work on my silly displays a little. NOTHING BIG! My Sister got all the Talent. She used to have her own Country Band. She was the best singer. She was as good as any of them. Maybe not Patsy Cline. WOW! She was GREAT!!! Christina did well though. She hired all the Guys in her band. Later on, she Married the drummer. They are still Married, and they have two wonderful Children. She was the baby of the family, so she was special. She was also on "The Pat Boone Show, when it was on." and her Daughter, when she was a baby had a small part in. "Baby Boom." with Dianne Keaton. She met her, and she said she was so very nice. Thanks again for posting the poems and the scrap blogs. Take care Hugs always Dee

Hi Dee.. What do you mean "silly" displays.. Your displays are awesome. I have saved quite a few of the ones you sent me. I wouldn't know where to start with that sort of hobby. It takes a lot of time and patience.. and the colourfulness of them amazes me.. Hey I also can't play guitar.. In fact I tried to take piano mlessons as a young girl and quit when my piano teacher slapped my fingers for improper fingering.. arrghh.. My sister was the piano player. She played in recitals and everything.. I wonder why she doesn't play anymore though. In fact she doesn't want her piano anymore.. I would love to hear her play again..She sort of withdrew form all that after her husband died.. He played guitar and silly stuff on the piano.. He liked Johnny Cash.. There was one song he would sing over and over and it drove us nuts.. He was a funny guy.. I kind of miss him sometimes..I was going to make a mini scrapbook of him for his daughters and never got it finished.. I have some nice photos saved to do that.. One day aye..
