HI Eric . I have been watching all the interviews with Mickey Rourke. Darn I would like to see the two of you act in a movie together again. I was so happy for Mickey that he won the Golden Globe and is now nominated for an Oscar for "The Wrestler"..I am definitely going to get this movie.. Have you spoken to Mickey since his nomination?? You guys were phenomenal in "Pope of Greenwich Village." Wouldn't it be great to work together again.. Keep that window open. I will be waiting.. Sunflower
P.s.Isn't it great that Mickey also has such a love for his dogs.. just like you... I think it is meant to be.. You and HE... yes!!!

Hi Eric! If there was to be a sequel to "The Pope of Greenwich Village", how would you like the story to be told? I say sequel because they can never remake the magic of this movie!

Hey Eric,

I heard a rumor that you might be cast in the bio pic Howl based on Allen Ginsberg Poems. Is this just a rumor.


It has to be so exciting working with Sylvester Stallone, i loved watching his Rocky movies. You and Sly both had movies that had a great story and with sports The Best Of The Best and Rocky. Arnold Schwarzenegger making a cameo. A lot of great actors in this movie. I can't wait to see this one, because you will be in it.


Sorry for the loss of your dog Muddy, it's always hard to lose a special pet.

Dear Eric!
In this letter, I will not ask you many questions. Just read this letter, please.

This is very painful - to lose a beloved dog.
I know how hard to survive the death of a friend. Because the dog is always a friend, always close to being. I feeling your pain, your tears.

I remember, I and my husband is buried our old collie Richard in 2006.
Our dog also had cancer. He had a surgery but the surgery was unsuccessful. His death was painful, we cried. He was almost 13 years. We feeled very lonely without him. He was so cheerful and courageous!
Now we have a young collie, too, Richard, he already a year and a half. A beautiful, kind and intelligent dog. But still we always remember our first Richard.

I want to present you my verse about childhood and about the dog. For Russian, this verse is written very well, with rhyme and rhythm. But I tried to translate this verse in English, and do not know what it correct. Maybe, the tranlating turned out quite unclear, because the Russian poetic phrase is difficult to convey the meaning in English. Write me please, how you like this text, and can you understand it in "my" English. If inthe text a lot of mistakes, you can fix it! (Ha-ha)

This is my my first and perhaps the most vivid
recollection of the physical and emotional pain at the same time.
A very simple case. I was five years old. Near to our

weekend morning, I played war with other children on a

It so happened that I stumbled on the concrete stairs and
broke knees to the blood. But none of the children are not brought

Свежая кровь на разбитых коленях.
Детская кровь на бетонных ступенях.
Время отброшено: это недавно.

Детское горе - плакать не надо,
Верь, что собака окажется рядом.
Только собака, только улыбка.
Просто падение было ошибкой.

Просто ошибка и опечатка:
Плюнули в душу, попали в десятку.
Приподнимайся с горбатых ступенек,
Крепче руками держась за ошейник.

Может, надежда окажется ближе,
Словно собака, раны залижет,
Дкшу залижет на долгие годы.
Просто надежда - собачьей породы...
