CHRISTMAS!!!

I want to wish all of the Members on this site a Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays, which ever you prefer.
Well, "2008" is almost over.
It has been some year. Some good one's, and some sad ones.
I know some of you have lost loved ones and friends this year, and it is very heart breaking.
I lost four family members this year, and a couple of them were too young to die.

We have been in a Bad War, and I feel so bad for the Mom's, Dad's, Sisters, and Brothers, and Wives that lost their Loved one.
I do support the Troops, but I also feel so bad for them. To live the way they have to live, and never knowing when or where their life will end, and some haven't made it, as you all know.
I have two Cousins in the Army, and one in the Marines. So far, they are okay.

I do wish for peace, as most of us do.
Here in the United States, we will have a New President in January.
I hope he does what he says he will do, and will make the economy better, and the Troops safer, or what ever he decides to do.
We are hoping for a much better year in "2009."
I also know that some of you are not Religious, but that is your choice.
That is what is so good about the United States. We have the freedom of free speech. As long as we are careful not to offend a Policeman. (ha)

If we lived in some countries, and said some of the things, that some of us have said, we would be Killed. That isn't good!!!

A very Special Happy New Year to all of my ER members and friends. Lorrie I truly loved your post. Your mention of the troops made me think of some of the men and woman from Canada that have also been fighting.. We had lost a few of them as well and it saddens me.. Only a few months ago one of the men was on TV (perhaps some of you saw it)as he said goodbye to his family here at the airport in Winnipeg. Then only a few short weeks later he was "gone"
In the New Year may you always find peace and love and laughter in your hearts..God Bless All of you...
I will think of you often .. I hope I can get on here a little more in the new Year. I have some photos to post for you.My son finally downloaded them for me.

Hi Sunflower,
Yes, I know that lots of the Military are from Canada also.
Oh, that is so sad about the Soldier that said "goodbye to his family on TV" and then he was gone. It is such a loss to the Many who have gone to war, and never came back.
How my Heart goes out to all of them.
I have never lost a Child as of yet, and hope to God, I never do. I want to go first. I don't want to go through that kind of pain.
I have always supported the Troops, but I also hate WAR! I know many of us do.
Why can't we all Just get along in this world?
I also need to post more Elaine. As you know, I cannot do the real cute stuff, but I can post. (ha)
I hope everyone had a Wonderful Christmas, and Holiday. I watched thingy Clark's count down last night. I think he has a painting of himself in his closet that is real old. (ha) I have heard that one before about him. He ages so well. Bless his heart, that stroke sure did slow him down for a while, but he is talking much better now, and doing great.

Haha .It did it again aye!! Yah it was Jenny who told me how to get the word itself to print. In fact it also did the THINGY thing in one of the replies Eric made in the question thread That is so wierd.. I was thrilled to see our questions were answered.I know you were concerned as your questions got missed last time... Maybe they didn't .Could they have been answered in another post.??Or maybe too late... I will have to check all the question posts to find the old ones. Did you try that?? Anyway these last ones were answered... Yaay!!! ;D ;D
