I have always thought Robert Downey is a Great Actor. He was great in "Chaplin" and my favorite " Heart and Souls."
I think this was very rude of him to say things like this though. Most of us loved "The Batman" and "Superman." and he should not be so Judgmental. Also he has a potty mouth.
He is still a Good Actor, but needs to chill out.
I was so glad that he Finally got off the Drugs. He should keep his opinions to himself.
OH! I forgot, there is such a thing as freedom of speech. Some ttake it too far though.

I also had to read about Susan Sarandon.
She is another Great Actress.
She also believces in Free Speech. I also think she goes a little too far, but------
I read in her quotes, and I don't agree with that.
She said that the reason she will not Marry her Boyfriend of almost 20 years Tim Robbins, cause when you Marry, you lose your indiviallity. Maybe that is the wrong spelling, but I am sure you all know what I mean.
I don't agree with her on that one. I am Woman, here me roar! I have my own opinions, and my Husband of many years does too. Is there anyone else out there on the site that is Married thinks that? Maybe their are some, but not me. Of course, you lose some of your dating kind of Life. Some things you don't do after you marry, but not having your own opinions is kind of whimpy to me anyway.

I asgree with you totally Lorrie. Jim and I have been married a long time. We both have our own opinions. In a lot of things we are one, but not in everything. We do respect each others opinions. Marie

WEll people I guess I will put in my two cents here too. Kurt & I will have been married 40 years as of July of next year.. WE are two different individuals and we agree to disagree on a lot of things.. But we don't just live for each other.. We still have separate friends.. Even do things separate (ie hobbies.. lunch with friends.. even a holiday or two.. We still love each other after all these years and he is my BEST friend in the world. We have our arguments just like anyone else and anyone who says they never argue is kidding themselves or keeping things that bother them inside. It is a good thing to get things out in the open if something is bothering you.. He teases me about my attachment to the Eric Roberts fan base but at the same time if he sees or hears something about Eric ..He tells me.. Hey his favourite actress has always been Rachael Welch.. I have never regretted marrying my guy and Marriage has not changed our personalities. We are still individuals. We have respect for each other and that means a lot.. I hope many of you feel the same way as I do.. That is just me talking .. Hope all you Canadians out there have a Happy Thanksgiving weekend.. My kids will be over on Sunday..    ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D  |
