We've lost our BEN HUR.. From Ben Hur to Planet of the Apes.. He was such a versatile actor. On "THE VIEW" this morning .They asked him what his secret was to a long and Happy Marriage. as to which he replied
"This is for the men"."Always remember those three little words"

Hi Sunflower,
Thanks for the link of Charlton Heston.
I was sad when I heard of his passing, even though we knew he wouldn't last much longer.
Who could ever forget his Moses in " The Ten Comandments." He was a Great Actor, and will be missed.
Lydia and Charlton have been Married for 64 years. Not many can top that one. I feel for her now, and the rest of his family.
May God be with them all.

yes I was saddened by his death as well. I am having a movie marathon next weekend. Plan to watch some of his movies.. I would really like to see some of his earlier ones. I am going to look them up.Do youi have some of his first films Dee??

Hi Again Sunflower,
You know. I hate to admit it, but I only have " The Ten Comandments." and that one was my Dad's. I have it now after my Dad passed away.
I have seen a lot of his movies. Harry's favorite was "Midway." but we don't have any of them. I also liked him in "Diamond Head." What a stubborn Man he played in that movie, but he did change for the better in the end.

I remember Midway Dee.. I think I am going to look up some of his old movies cause I know I saw a few of them . My mom loved the guy!!I liked him but he wasn't a favourite of mine.
