OKay this is a story for anyone that has a pet... It is all about having a laugh.. and enjoying the moment.. On NewYears Eve many years ago when the kids were still youngsters .. We were all waiting in the living room for my brother in law to pick us up to go to their house for New years..MY husband being in his "funny" mode decided it was a good time to see if Our big Lab/Husky dog would react if he (my hubby) started to wrestle with our oldest son (in the middle of the living room).. In minutes our dog SAM wanted to get in on it.. He jumped right in the middle of my hubby and My son Sean.. He was one BIG dog..the wrestling continued until SAM decided he would "help" Sean(he was Sean's dog.hmm) . He pounced on my husband sending him flying into the christmas tree knocking it down and all the oranaments in disarray.. You should have seen my husband!!!! The poor dog was so scared he'd get punished that he ran downstairs with his tail between his legs.. Then we just ALL started laughing and soon Kurt(my hubby) was laughing too(as ornaments & Tinsel dangled from his head).You had to see it!! it took us a good fifteen minutes to encourage SAM that he wasn't in trouble and we all hugged him.. he had to go to each of us for approval.. That was soooo funny!!!! Will never forget it..
So lets all lighten up and enjoy the season .. Our families ..our friends.. Nothing could be better...
