Our Canadian Thanksgiving was in October. In the US it is like Christmas.. Quite the celebration as I have been to my friends in Colorado for Thanksgiving.. The next thing is that the day after Thanksgiving is their biggest shopping day ever!!! Sure was an eye opener to me.. Fun but exhausting (haha)..

I love the display photo you have for Thanksgiving. I just finished sending notes to my friends that live in the US. MY sister and I and a few others are heading to Grand Forks tomorrow for all the big "after Thanksgiving " sales. I buy a few of my Christmas presents then for those that live out of town like my little neices in BC .. and my one neice in Colorado.. I do love to shop.. But I am prettty good at picking the sales..My sister teases me when I say I am going to the "dollar store" for the 50 percent "off" sale.. Okay... so I do do that and I also love Value Village. I find neat "gently used ' clothes there for myself .. So why not??? Its fun...I even found some neat kitchen glasses I wanted and could not find anymore.. I bought a set of four.. really n ice too. Do any of you do that too??

Sun, I loved the song very much. I also wanted to say that you know me. I love bargains too. I have new clothes hanging in my closet, that I only wore once, or twice. I paid too much money for some of them. I like my used ones better. I am not to proud to admit it either. We have the Best Value Village down here that I have ever seen. I always find clothes to fit me. I am only a size 7. I would like to be a size 9, but don't think that will happen. I will be walking down the street with my Husband, and someone will say " What a lovely skirt you have on. Where did you find such a pretty skirt? Like I said. I am not proud. I tell them. At Value Village. (HA) Besides I have to watch what I spend. So Harry can get his $3000.00 Telescope paid for ( The Stinker) Take care and will be glad when you get back. Hugs and more Hugs Dee

Size 7.. ???YIKES!!! I was never that small. I wore a size 9 when Kurt & I married.. Now I wear a size 16.. and a size 18 jacket.. Kurt's family are all so little.. (haha). His sister Janice is the same age as me and she was around my size when I wore a size 13.. Now she is still that I think.. AHHH the more to love aye... I keep telling Kurt that.. He is such a slim guy.. but is still very strong.. Our sons are all in great shape.. Of course they all work out and run and stuff like that.. I walk.. walk .. walk.. No more running for me.. I love being outdoors though.. and our Canadian Winters put a damper on that!!As soon as we get a milder day. and sunny weather I am out there.. walking.. Not far.. but I still try to keep it up..
