Hey I'm back!!!

Well people I am back from a wonderful holiday in Colorado. Hmm didn't bump into our Eric at the Airport THIS time (haha). I am battling a bad cold now and am in much need of some rest but so much to do now before Christmas.. Thought I would check in and see whatcha are all up too here.. Did Yah miss me????I will post a couple of photos later once I get them downloaded.. My son says he will do it for me. My son and his girlfriend bought me a new Digital camera for my birthday / xmas .They wanted me to have it for my trip..I messed up a few photos but did get some good ones (haha)..

Hi everyone,
Boy Elaine I am sorry to hear that you are feeling so down with you're cold. My sweetie has been sick for some time too. I don't seem to catch his colds, knock on wood (my head)

I've been away for a very long time. First I went to the Gulf Coast (Sanibel and Marco Island) to visit a friend who was my best bud as a young girl. She was there visiting her mother and father. Then we both went to her home in Encinitas, CA. She is a burn victim and started a foundation called Angel Faces, for adolescent girls with facial anomalies. Funny, she married the First Battalion Fire Chief in San Diego. I had a wonderful time at the yearly retreat she has for these girls with a "broken spirit". Afterwards their spirit is lifted and their life has new hope. It's a wonderful thing she has done as she was severely burned in a home fire at her grandmother's at the age of 8. I was suppose to be with her but we had a disagreement and I stayed home, funny how things happen for a reason.

Anyway, is was a great time but also an eyeopening experience about how our perceptions of ourselves can be improved given the right tools and perspective.

There were many fires in the local area while I was there and all the memories of Lesia's incident as a young girl brought back the frightening experience she had gone through.

Sorry to dump upon my return, but it is so fresh in my mind that it helps to get it out.

All in all in was a great time and I am so happy to have been able to be with my best friend once again.

I will try to come around more often, but I have been ill myself with several genetic conditions that prevent me from typing too much. Though I was not in her fire I can relate due to my anomalies. If you can do so please pray for her, her girls and myself, we all need it, I intrn will pray for you.

Hi Everyone. I am sorry I have not been on here much of late.. I have really been knocked out by this cold since coming back from Colorado. BUT I am getting there.. I like the way keaton's song s come on when you sign in. I am listening to them now.. Very nice...Good you visited too Gigi... I have heard of that foundation before.. from a friend. It is a wonderful thing they are doing with Burn victims etc.. I am amazed at the generosity of people during this blessed time of year.. Gigi I am sure you were realy moved by what you saw.It does make us step back and
appreciate what we ourselves are blessed with....
