Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - "Heroes" fans who have been vocal lately because they aren't happy with the show, should have been pleased Monday night with an episode devoted to many flashbacks that revolved around season one.
Monday's show, "Villains," took a look at the past through Hiro's cloud-covered eyes and started with a bang as Sylar, known then as Gabriel, was trying to commit suicide. He was rescued by none other than Elle, who was working on a mission with HRG to find out what made Sylar kill.
Eric Roberts -- yes that is Julia Roberts brother -- put in a guest appearance on the show, helping to track down and capture Claire's mother Meredith and her brother Flint. Who knew! At the end, Roberts's character lets Meredith go when he learns the "company" told her that her baby was killed in a fire. We all know that her "baby" is Claire and she is alive and well. In fact she happens to be running under the bridge at that moment to the burning train, where she rescues someone.
The Arthur/Angela/Linderman/Nathan storyline was central to Monday's show, as it set up why Arthur ended up in his vegetative state. How about a little poisoned soup from his loving wife when she learned he was going to kill her baby Nathan. You go Angela.
The show ended with Hiro awake and in the clutches of the evil Arthur. Will Hiro lose his head just like Usutu did? Let's hope not, because we all need a little more time travel from our boy Hiro.
"Heroes" airs Monday on NBC at 9/8c.
