Hi Everyone,

Lots of you don't know me, as I have not been able to get on line very often over the past year or so. I adore Eric and Eliza, and have met many, many great people on this site.

Without going into detail (I can't as I have not asked permission to share details yet), I want to let you all know that our beloved Dee (screen name Lorrie3) is going through a tragedy so great that it is nearly unbearable for her. If you believe in prayer (I do), please pray for her and her family. If you don't, please send good wishes and positive thoughts somehow.

Sunflower, Eric, Eliza - I love you all.

Hi Everyone,

I spoke with Dee by telephone a few minutes ago. I have her permission to tell all her ER friends that her beloved daughter, Tammy, died suddenly. Dee and her family are, of course, grieving deeply. If anyone is so inclined, I know Dee would appreciate any posts that would be of comfort to her.

Thank you so so much Gingers for posting this on behalf of Dee (Lorrie) and her family.. My heart is so heavy as I grieve with her during this difficult time.. I was just coming on here to write a note to the memebers about the passing of Dee and Harry's beloved Daughter Tammy.. Words cannot express How I feel about this "special" friend Dee whom I have come to know and love dearly..I so enjoyed hearing the wonderful stories and seeing the great photos she shared with all of us of her family.. The loss of her beloved Tammy is a loss so great that she will need all our prayers and love to get through this terrible tragedy..
Dear Dee and Harry... As you go through the stages of dealing with your grief. May you find that shining light that once was Tammys... Your daughter.. Your friend.. Your love.. Find Peace...

Thank you Lacey and Elaine for your posts. I know they wil mean so much to Dee and her family. Dee is, without question, one of the dearest people I have ever been blessed to share even a small part of their lives with. She is so compassionate, funny, loving - I could go on and on.

I must take this moment to thank Eric and Eliza for allowing us to be a small part of their world also. Had it not been for Eric's official website - this site - I would never have gotten to know so many truly great people. Eric and Eliza - thank you.

Elaine (Sunflower) - you know how I feel, since we just got off the telephone. You are one terrific lady.

Thanks to everyone who chooses to say a comforting word to Dee. It really is a small, small world. Let's please open our arms and hearts to Dee and Harry and let them know how much we genuinely care about what they're having to endure.

Thank you, Aryad, for your kind post. I know Dee will appreciate reading it. There is much I can't say, because of confidentiality issues, as I'm sure everyone understands. Dee and her family are walking through a fire right now that is beyond comprehension.

Dear Dee! Today I heard this sad news. That wounded my heart. This pain, this suffering, it tears. To lose a daughter - this is terrible. Let us have faith that in heaven she will find peace. My condolences to you.

As I read these posts again I definitely feel the caring you all have for Dee and her family at this difficult time.. I am still going to contribute to this forum as best I can as it was This forum that brought us all together ..I lost my brother in 97 and it still haunts me today but Thanks to the wonderful memories we have of him we have finally found some peace... I hope that one day Dee will find some of that peace in her heart as well.Our children are NOT supposed to go before us!!!..

I have been speaking back and forth with both Dee and Gingers and my heart is so heavy when I think of the saddness in their hearts..Gingers with legalities etc about her Handicapped brother and Dee over the loss of her dear daughter Tammy.. Both Dee and her husband Harry are having a difficult time.. I can't begin to tell you what they have been going through.. I am so glad that Dee continues to write to me during this sad time.. We are In touch " every day almost.. please continue to send her your prayers and condolances.. it means a lot to Dee and her family...
